Madhyapur-Thimi, commonly referred to as Thimi, is a municipality located in the Bagmati Zone in central Nepal’s Bhaktapur District. Thimi is located in the Kathmandu Valley, between Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur. It is one of the historic and culturally significant locations along the commerce route that connects Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
